The Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures (AAPSEF), the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI), and the Graduate School (GS) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) co-organised the 2025 Graduation Ceremony on the Tai Po Campus on 21 November 2025, conferring degrees on the graduates. The inaugural cohorts from AAPSEF and AEDI included 110 graduates from the Executive Master of Public Administration and Leadership (EMPAL), 57 graduates from the Master of Arts in Global Higher Education [MA(GlobalHE)], and 38 graduates from the Master of Science in Educational Neuroscience [MSc(EdN)].
In his opening remarks, Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, President of EdUHK and Director of AAPSEF and AEDI, extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates, commending their efforts in investigating challenges and exploring opportunities in global higher education, exploring the application of neuroscience principles to drive teaching innovations, and analysing local, national and global governance issues from diverse perspectives. Professor May Cheng May-hung, EdUHK Vice President (Academic), encouraged graduates to remain open-minded, commit to lifelong learning, and continually strive for self-improvement to forge a meaningful and fulfilling future.
A graduation reception followed, featuring photo sessions with the Director, members of the Management Committee and Executive Committee, Programme Leaders and teaching teams from AAPSEF and AEDI, an instant photo booth, as well as souvenir distribution and refreshments enabling them to celebrate this memorable milestone together.
