The newly established Global Institute of Emerging Technologies Future Team (GIET–Future Team) at The Education University of Hong Kong is a key research centre dedicated to promoting the innovation and application of emerging technologies in STEAM and other fields.

Institute for Global Governance and Chinese Foreign Affairs (IGGCFA)

The Institute for Global Governance and Chinese Foreign Affairs (IGGCFA) serves as an academic and research hub in the fields of international relations and Chinese foreign affairs. It collaborates with the China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) to strengthen partnerships in the areas of international relations, Chinese foreign affairs education and professional practice.

Artificial Intelligence and Digital Competency Education Centre (AIDCEC)

Artificial Intelligence and Digital Competency Education Centre (AIDCEC) is a professional supporting unit at The Education University of Hong Kong. With dual focuses on AI and digital competency, AIDCEC aims to contribute to the growth and development of the digital economy in a way that is socially responsible and sustainable.

Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education (CEIE)

Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education (CEIE) is responsible for planning, implementing and co-ordinating Entrepreneurship and Innovation education activities for all EdUHK students.

Centre for Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies (CHELPS)

The Centre for Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies is a groundbreaking initiative under the auspices of EdUHK's Academy for Applied Policy and Educational Futures. We are proud to be the first and only higher education centre in Hong Kong that actively fosters relationships with institutions in China, East Asia, and worldwide. 

Global Centre for Women, Development and Education (GCWDE)

The Global Centre for Women, Development and Education under the Institute for Global Governance and Chinese Foreign Affairs is dedicated to promoting women's multifaceted development in the era of globalisation, technology, and AI, expanding educational opportunities, and empowering women in Asia, Africa, and other parts of the Global South. It aims to integrate academic research, practical training, and personnel development to promote women's development, social innovation, and sustainable development.

National Security and Legal Education Research Centre (NSLERC) 

To raise awareness among teachers and the public on safeguarding national security and on being law-abiding, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) has established the National Security and Legal Education Research Centre. Through the Centre, EdUHK will invite local and Mainland experts and scholars to provide academic and professional advice, explain and evaluate national security and legal education projects, organise regular national security education talks and seminars, and hold events on the annual National Security Education Day.

EdUHK-Mainland Education Research Alliances (EMERA)

The EdUHK-Mainland Education Research Alliances (EMERA) serves as a pivotal platform for establishing deep collaborations and concrete development projects between EdUHK and strategic partners in the Chinese Mainland. By promoting translational research and industry ties, EMERA fosters a robust ecosystem that delivers long-term professional benefits to students, faculty, and stakeholders.

EdUHK-SYSU Centre for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Development Research

The EdUHK-SYSU Centre for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Development Research aims to become an integrated research platform encompassing academic and policy research, academic exchange, and postgraduate cultivation. It also serves as a support base for EdUHK's development in the Chinese Mainland and for SYSU's Institute of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao Development Studies to expand its reach in Hong Kong.
